Now that we have had our AGM, I thought it might be a good idea to introduce our new Committee of Managment. They are:
President: Graeme Glenn
Vice President: Tina Resoort
Treasurer: Jackie Jenkins
Secretary: Ingrid Glenn
General Committee: Louise Willis, Ivy Thomas and Melissa Partington
Sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to our previous Coordinator, Ev Mitchard. Ev had put in 15 years of love and dedication into the position, and decided that it was time for a change. We wish Ev well in her new endeavours!
The new Committee of Management wish to assure you that we are already working hard to ensure that next year is a great year for Karingal Neighbourhood House. Over the Christmas break we will be appointing a consultant to look at what we can do in the future, including some new ideas for funding and activities and meeting community needs. We hope to have a new Coordinator in place by early 2012.
If you are interested in having a say in what happens at Karingal Neighbourhood House next year, then consider joining our Committee of Management! New members are always welcome!
